Who is an Oral Surgeon?

Did You Know That An Oral Surgeon:

  • Completed four (4) years of dental education after college to obtain their DDS degree.
  • Completed an additional four (4) years of hospital oral surgery residency to become an oral and maxillofacial surgeon 

And Then Can Become Board Certified In Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery By: 

  • Completing an intensive application and examination process to qualify as a member of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

And Can Also Become Certified In Dental Anesthesiology By:

  • Completing an intensive application and examination process to qualify as a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

I would just like to thank Dr. Pruden and his entire staff for making my first experience getting a wisdom tooth pulled a pleasant as possible from start to finish.

The moment I called Dr. Pruden’s office I was talked to in a very friendly manner, I wanted to come in as soon as possible and get it over with, and to my surprise, you fit me in that day within 1 hour, which I think is unbelievable service.
